Our seller purchased this home in 2012 as a fixer up project. After making significant improvements over the years, life has taken him in new directions with little time to continue the repairs required of this home. He has selected Wears Auctioneering to offer this home thru our ONLINE AUCTION process.

Moved to this location in 1900, this folk Victorian was saved from the wrecking ball but needs another owner to take her to the next step. The wonderful layout makes the house feel much larger than it is, almost an open concept that allows the line of sight to flow into multiple rooms at once. As much of the house has been kept original.  The woodwork on the first floor has never been painted and retains its warm, rich tones. Elegant columns separate the entry room from the parlor. The parlor boasts a large picture window with leaded glass and beautiful pocket doors leading into the dining room. Restored hardwood floors throughout the first floor. First floor also includes a half bath with new vanity and toilet. Kitchen was originally destroyed by a broken pipe and was completely gutted, new red oak flooring has been laid but room remains unfinished. Upstairs bathroom has original claw foot tub and original sink. Three bedrooms upstairs, one has been brought to livable condition, the other two are unrestored.

A new metal roof was put on 5 years ago, and a new water heater was installed at the same time. Furnace is older but has worked great. House is insulated.
